We are very keen to have as many people involved as possible!
We are currently recruiting mentors and candidates for the 2016-2017 year. The program consists of one-to-one matching of a candidate with a junior faculty member. The mentor-candidate pair videoconference with each other 2-4 times between October and December. The meetings are open-ended, but suggested topics include the candidate’s dossier, strategizing about what jobs to apply for, and preparing for interviews. Candidates also have the option of being grouped into support teams with three other candidates, where they are encouraged to communicate via email and videoconferencing. The program is deliberately flexible to accommodate each participant’s aims and circumstances.
